On Monday afternoon a fire broke out at Lisa Vanderpump’s Villa Blanca restaurant forcing customers to evaluate.
Customers and employees had to flee when smoke began to fill the restaurant and the surrounding building.
LVP’s husband, Ken Todd was on the scene and told TMZ; the fire started in one of their pizza ovens.
“The pizza oven extract got too hot and started smoking. We didn’t want to take any chances so we called the fire brigade and they put some water on it and cooled it off,” Ken explained.
Ken also thanked the firefighters calling them “amazing, quick, and efficient.”
Thankfully there were no injuries, and everyone got out safely.
However, according to Ken, the restaurant will be closed for a “couple of days” to clean up the “water damage.”
Villa Blanca was Lisa and Ken’s first restaurant in Los Angeles. The couple also owns PUMP and SUR, which their spin-off show Vanderpump Rules is filmed at.
I’m glad to hear that everyone got out of Villa Blanca safely. Good thing Ken was there to run the show.
