It’s almost time for the premiere of RHOP season 2, and from the looks of the trailer we are in for a wild ride. Last season was a flop with fans, but in defense of the cast, they had no idea that they were actually filming for The Real Housewives; allegedly they were told it was a show about high society in Potomac, hence the lack of drama and constant talk of etiquette!
Now that the ladies knew that they were Real Housewives, they really brought the drama, and it’s said that this season is packed with controversy and will not let us down.
Yesterday Bravo released the season 2 taglines, which are typically a sneak peak of the wives’ storylines or situations they deal with throughout the season.
Check them out below!
Gizelle Bryant: Word on the street is…I’m still the word on the street!
Karen Huger: Potomac put me on a pedestal, and the view is spectacular!
Monique Samuels: I may be rough around the edges, but baby, so are diamonds!
Robyn Dixon: Don’t let the green eyes fool you; I’m as real as they come!
Charrisse Jackson Jordan: Why cry over spilled milk, when you can laugh over champagne!
Ashley Darby: I’ve played by Potomac’s rules, but now it’s time to play by my own!
It’s pretty clear that Gizelle is standing firm that she runs this group, and that the rest of the ladies just love to talk about her! Karen is a bit delusional and still believes that she is better than the rest of the women; this is irritating and I personally hope she finally gets taken down a few notches. She is the only one who thinks this!
Newbie Monique is telling us right from the start that she’s a tough chick, but a beautiful, expensive one at that. Robyn is definitely a real, down-to-earth woman, and the reference of green eyes hints that she is out to prove she is a proud, black woman; despite what some of her haters say!
Charrisse’s tagline speaks for itself and I’m so glad to see that she’s moving on gracefully and living for her now; however she needs to drop Eddie’s last name and go back to being Charrisse Jackson!
Ashley’s tagline speaks volumes; she’s done doing what these ladies say and is over their advice. She’s going back to her old ways and disregarding what they say or think; this could end up very bad for her, very bad!
The AATRH team is so excited for RHOP season 2, which premieres April 2nd at 9PM!
