That’s a wrap?
The Paterson, NJ police have arrested two men for the murder of two men, killed in Real Housewives of New Jersey star Kim DePaola’s car. It is said that the family believes the murders were a pre-meditated revenge killing.
Clarence Williams and Gerry Thomas were taken into custody for the horrific Friday killing and have been charged with arson and murder, TMZ is reporting.
The victims who were shot execution style then burned have been identified as 27-year-old Aaron Anderson and 25-year-old Antonio Vega.
Sources close to the families say the victims were driving around with a third person in the backseat of a car registered to RHONJ’s Kim D. The third person is believed to have setup the victims and lured them a gas station where the shootings went down.
Williams and Thomas first shot Aaron and Antonio then came back later to torch the car. Families and police believe this was a revenge against Aaron and that Antonio was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Meanwhile, Kim D has been very vocal about her lack of involvement in the crime; shutting down rumors she or her son played any role in the horrific crime.
“People are saying my car was tied to the murders, my car was not tied to anyone,” Kim told Radar. “Aaron Anderson, a friend of my son, was supposed to drop my son off at the airport, park the car and not use it. But he used the car and then this horrific accident happened.”
Adding, “The cops never thought I had anything to do with it. This would’ve happened in my car or not.”
Kim has also been adamant that this crime was gang related and not a mob hit.
“The mob doesn’t do this,” she said. “It would be gang related. Maybe they pissed someone off and they’re making a statement. I hope they find these savages.”
The AATRH team sends our condolences to Kim, her son, and the victims’ families. We are glad to hear that suspects are in custody.
