Out of context?
There’s no doubt that Harry Hamlin is head over heels in love with his wife Lisa Rinna so it’s not surprising that he came to his wife defense about some of her most controversial moments this season during his Wednesday night appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Harry found himself wrapped up in the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills drama when he advised Rinna on her issues with Kim Richards; ultimately helping the Housewife remember that she did in fact question Kim’s sobriety during a conversation wth Eden Sassoon.
Lisa eventually owned up to her comments in front of all her co-stars but now Harry is saying that Lisa didn’t actually say what’s she’s being accused of.
“Well, wait a minute. If you look at the syntax of what you said, the words were, ‘They’re this close to Kim dying.’ What does that mean, ‘They’re this close to Kim dying’? She never said, ‘Kim’s this close to death.’ The words, you’ve got to go back and look at the words,” Harry explained to Andy Cohen on WWHL. “So out of context, it sounds like that, but it wasn’t that. She never said Kim was ‘this close.’ What she was referring to was what Kyle [Richards] said about the fact that she was waiting for that phone call to come sometime late at night. She was terrified of that.”
Adding that despite all the drama between Lisa and Kim, Lisa really does want to move on and let it be.
“It’s time to move on!” Harry explained which is why he helped his wife gift Kim with a stuffed animal for her grandson.
“She came to me and said, ‘Look, I’ve got this bunny and Kim has a grandchild.’ And she said, ‘I don’t know if I should give it to her because it could be weird,'” Harry revealed. “And I said, ‘Wait, it’s for the grandchild. The sins of the grandparents, don’t put it on the kid. If it’s from your heart, give it to Kim, and she will accept it from the heart,’ and then we know what happened.”
“There has never been a Xanax in a smoothie,” Harry revealed. “We do have smoothies in our house, and from time to time, there’s a little bit of Xanax for flying long distances. The two have never come together.”
The RHOBH husband also confirmed that his wife “absolutely” has a sixth sense, with Lisa claims helped her realize Dorit Kemsley was talking about her now infamous smoothie moment to the other ladies.
Meanwhile, Lisa was loving the support from her hubby during his WWHL appearance and gave him a shoutout on Twitter.
“Harry Hamlin is a f***ing stud!” she tweeted.
Um…is it just me or did HH just blow our minds? You have to admit his explanation about what Rinna actually said about Kim makes sense; making it pretty clear that she may not have said what we actually thought she said. Anyways, I adore HH and LR’s relationship it’s so cute.
