Even though Rinna and Kyle have been friends for years, enough is finally enough and she can’t watch Kim treated this way any longer, especially because Rinna’s rumors could hinder her sobriety.
In a recent interview with Female First, (which took place before the reunion), Kyle revealed her plan to stand up for Kim, and dished on her own relationship with Rinna!
“Personally, I think all that drama really changed everything for me and put me in an awful position. Kim is my sister, but Lisa Rinna is also supposed to be my friend. I mean how many times can she say she’s ‘sorry’ before it doesn’t mean anything,” Kyle questioned.
Kyle admitted that she thinks her sister Kim is “an easy target,” because of her long, public struggle with addiction. “With Kim, she’s someone who comes on the show and always says something funny. My kids even say she’s their favorite. However, she’s an easy target and therefore I think that’s why a lot of drama circles her, but she’s not someone to take it lying down which makes things a bit more interesting,” she explained.
Kyle has forgiven Rinna multiple times for disrespecting Kim, and Lisa Vanderpump questions this time and time again. She does however admit that this season was worse than previous ones, and she does look at Rinna a bit differently now. “Lisa Vanderpump says to me, ‘How can you be so forgiving?’, and I’m like, ‘That’s easy for you to say because you do not like each other!’ I know [Rinna’s] a good person but it really changed a lot for me,” Kyle confirmed.
As for the season 7 newbies, it’s no secret that Kyle favors Dorit Kemsley over Eden Sassoon, and she shed some light onto what she thinks of both ladies.
She says that Dorit is, “completely honest about who she is.” Adding that she, “has great style and her family are a great addition to the show. I think the audience will grow to love her a lot more as the show goes on.”
Kyle actually said that she has “no words” when it comes to Eden Sassoon, so it’s obvious that if Kyle has any say, she won’t be back next season.
Although, there are some familiar faces Kyle would love to see back on Bravo for season 8! “I love Adrienne Maloof and Taylor Armstrong. I have a special place in my heart with all the original cast members. It would be great to have them all back because that’s who we started the original show with,” Kyle wrapped.
