A RHONY insider confirmed to TV Deets that Jill will actually be making “multiple appearances” throughout season 9, fueling the rumors that she is headed for a comeback!
It’s been said for years that Bethenny Frankel has a huge say in casting, which is why it’s taken producers so long to bring Jill back; yet as expected a source close to production shut these claims down immediately. “The cast does not have casting approval. The producers and network make final casting decisions.”
While it’s been years since Jill and Bethenny’s fight, there has been an unspoken tension ever since, and many think that Jill’s return does not sit well with Bethenny. “Jill and Bethenny don’t think about each other everyday. Their fight was 5 years ago and it’s old news. Jill will always love Bethenny,” the insider revealed.
Even more, the source says that their fight was “sensationalized” for ratings, and Bravo fans carried it out. “Bethenny works 24/7 and barely has time to breathe, much less travel the world and sing ‘Kumbaya’ with Jill Zarin,” an insider pointed out.
While I’ve found it to be the opposite, a RHONY source insisted that, “Bethenny is not the kind of person to hold grudges.”
Apparently producers wanted to keep Jill’s return under wraps, but it ended up in the trailer and now her return is the talk of the network! They can’t deny that she’s a possibility for next season, and if the rumors are true and season 9 is “a dud,” she will be a shoe-in for season 10!
