It looks like none of the Real Housewives of New York will be putting on their dancing shoes anytime soon.
Rumor has it that the RHONY crew isn’t welcome on Dancing With the Stars despite the show being very Housewife friendly.
“The show isn’t anti Housewives — it’s just anti-New York City Housewives!” an insider revealed.“They’ve had Jersey, Beverly Hills and Atlanta ladies on, but no one from New York City.”
“Bethenny was pushing hard to get on the show again this season and even contacted her ‘friend’ host Tom B.,” a source added. “She has visited the show as a guest and sat front row in the audience, but they just don’t want her on as a contestant. Countess Luann [de Lesseps] and Ramona [Singer] have also both tried to get cast, but producers rejected both of them too.”
And with RHONY ratings on the decline, the New York Housewives may never get a shot at winning a mirror ball trophy.
Are you surprised DWTS doesn’t want Bethenny or any of the NY Housewives on the show? How do you think the RHONY would do on DWTS?
