Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz have come under fire numerous times for their bromance. Not to mention, Sandoval’s obsession with his hair and concealer don’t help the gay rumors at all!
Recently on WWHL Tom and Tom kissed on the lips, and given that they both are in relationships with women, it was a bit uncomfortable to watch.
The duo appeared on The Daily Dish Podcast and talked all about Vanderpump Rules; they even got real on how they deal with the constant rumors about their sexuality.
“I think that’s an accurate portrayal. I think it’s probably the hardest I’ve ever fallen apart in my life. It was cathartic and it was sloppy. It was a beautiful disaster,” Schwartz confessed about his New Orleans bachelor party. However Sandoval clarified, “It was super fun and amazing and also very like depressing.”
Tom Schwartz revealed that he and his wife Katie won’t watch this season of Vanderpump Rules together, given how terribly their relationship was portrayed. “I can’t. I can’t watch the episodes. First of all, I love our show. I love watching it with Tom. I’ll indulge with Tom once in a while, but I just can’t do it. I can’t look at myself. It’s just so hard to watch yourself. I don’t know if it’s the same for everybody, but I just look at myself and I just hyper-criticize myself and I’m like ‘Oh my god. You’re a wreck,’” he explained.
Apparently Sandoval is flattered by the gay rumors, and takes it as a sign that he’s really made it in Hollywood! “People say that about everyone. They say that about Ryan Seacrest, they say it about me, that say it about [Schwartz]. People like to speculate all kinds of different things,” Sandoval insisted.
For months now numerous members of the VPR crew has said this is the best season yet, and so far I have to agree, it’s been really good! “I’ve said it before, but I think this is one of the best – if not the best – seasons of our show,” Sandoval reiterated.
Schwartz pointed out, “I don’t say the word ‘epic’ anymore because I feel like it’s hackneyed or abused, but this wedding was epic.”
It sounds like we are in for a REAL treat tonight, because last week Sandoval said, “Lisa even said that next week’s episode is the best episode of the show’s history. I definitely agree with that in a lot of ways, but it gets even better after that,” he wrapped.
