Catching a break?
Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Jacqueline, and Chris Laurita may have just gotten the break they needed in their on-going legal issues.
The couple caught a break when a bankruptcy judge gave them two months to file their objections to claims against them, New York court documents reveal.
Now the couple must file their new motion by April 30th.
Jacqueline and Chris’ legal troubles began when Chris’ company Signature Apparel filed for corporate bankruptcy. The couple was then slammed with more financial troubles when their lawyers quit after Jac and Chris refused to pay over $290,000 in fees.
Also, the RHONJ couple also owes $340,000 in state taxes.
Despite the looming financial issues Jacquline continues to keep quiet and pretend it’s business as usual on social media.
I’m interested to see if Jacqueline and Chris can get their shit together and handle this. I think the Laurita’s will be back for season 8 of RHONJ for the paycheck alone. I mean it’s clear they need it.
