Heather Dubrow rocked the housewives world last week, when she announced she was leaving RHOC after 5 seasons on Bravo. We told you that she revealed this news on her podcast, Heather Dubrow’s World, and revealed she’s taking this time to focus on her family.
Divorce rumors have been heating up ever since, but Heather insists that this is for the benefit of her children, and that she and Terry are doing just fine.
I made it clear last week that I could smell a spin-off coming, and I assumed it would be on E! Bravo and E! are both under NBC Universal, and Terry’s show Botched airs on E!
Although some of its shows are way trashier than housewives, E! has a better reputation that Bravo, and E! News is the biggest entertainment news program on TV.
Heather and Terry bringing their spin-off to E! over Bravo is a huge slap in the face to Andy Cohen and the network, but it makes a lot of sense.
Now sources agree with my theory, and apparently behind the scenes Heather and Terry are already shopping a spin-off about life at home with their kids. The Dubrow’s have a large fan base and are involved with many other media projects; taking themselves out of the spotlight doesn’t seem like an option right now.
“Heather is working on a solo project and it is most likely going to be with E! network, which, along with Bravo, is part of the NBCUniversal family,” an insider confirmed.
However, Heather and Terry aren’t sharing this news with anyone just yet, and a source close to production is the one who spilled on this RHOC secret!
“She is being super hush-hush about this and not even her close friends, or her former cast mates, know what it is. But it will most likely focus just on her and her family,” the insider wrapped.
While the AATRH team loves our Bravo, we do love E! as well. We wish Heather all the best, and will definitely be tuning in for this spin-off!
