New city, new drama?
The Real Housewives franchise has expanded all across the country filming in New York, Beverly Hills, Dallas, Orange County, New Jersey, Washington D.C., Miami, Atlanta, and Potomac so could Bravo be ready to bring the Housewives empire to Chicago?
Don’t Be Tardy star Brielle Biermann recently visited the Windy City with her boyfriend and Chicago White Sox pitching prospect Michael Kopech and immediately fell in love.
After visiting Chicago, Brielle reached out to Andy and asked him to bring the Real Housewives franchise to Chicago; even hinting that she could star in the show.
“I tweeted (The Real Housewives’ executive producer Andy Cohen Monday) actually, and I said ‘Ohmigosh, let’s do a ‘Real Housewives of Chicago. I’ll be the Kim, and all we have to do is find a Sheree and Nene.’ And I met Time Anderson’s wife Bria and I really love her, and like, she’s the sweetest person ever, so I’m like, “Let’s get her on board,” Brielle explained to The Chicago Tribune.
Brielle also gushed about how much she loves Chicago saying the city is “like a cleaner New York. It’s less busy, and the people are so much nicer” however she feels it’s missing reality TV.
During her visit, Brielle stopped by PRM Italian and got the VIP treatment thanks to her friend Giuliana Rancic.
“So I had @RPMItalianChi for the first time tonight & I’m OBSESSED! Fav restaurant ever! Thank u @GiuliannaRancic for the food u sent over!!” Brielle tweeted.
No word on what Andy or Bravo think about doing a Real Housewives of Chicago or having Brielle star in it.
I think Real Housewives of Chicago sounds like a great idea. I mean we really need another MAJOR city with a Housewives franchise. Bravo would be smart to put Brielle on Housewives of Chicago if she moves there with her professional athlete boyfriend; if not she might get scooped up WAGS. We always knew that one or two of the Real Housewives’ kids would become a Housewife themselves one day, and I think Brielle has the looks, attitude, and fan base to pull it off.
