Last year Bravo stars began filming movie promotions that aired exclusively on Bravo and brought attention to the movie, and The Real Housewives franchise.
Lisa Vanderpump has made it her life mission to save as many dogs as she can, so it was no question that she would be the housewife to film the ad for A Dog’s Purpose, a new film set to hit theaters later this week.
TMZ released a video of Hercules (one of the main characters in the movie) struggling over a body of freezing, rough water. This video has caused major controversy, and has been called “animal abuse” by many.
Everyone involved in the movie says this video is “not a representation” of what really went down behind the scenes, and insist that “animal safety” was a top priority at all times! PETA and other animal rights organizations are protesting the movie, and of course Lisa Vanderpump is “heart sick” over the shocking footage.
This video goes against everything Lisa stands for, especially her “extensive work with the Vanderpump Dog foundation.“
Both Lisa and Bravo are unsure of what to do about the promotional ad that Lisa shot for the video, but regardless, she already got paid and says she’s keeping the money!
