Scheana Shay clearly loves the spotlight, and while she first gained notoriety as Eddie Cibrian’s mistress, she now has a (semi) successful reality TV career! Scheana is an aspiring actress and singer who’s waiting tables to pay the bills, and exposing her dirty laundry for the world to see!
Scheana’s split from hubby Mike Shay will be documented for Vanderpump Rules, and following the split she plans to continue her quest for fame, and all the perks that comes with it! “Scheana wants to focus on the show [Vanderpump Rules] which is her number one job,” an insider confirmed. Insisting, “She wants to make good TV.”
Scheana and her hubby made music together, however it seems she will remain a “one-hit wonder!” It turns out she has put a lot of thought into her next step, and a source spilled, “She wants to host like Rocsi Diaz or Maria Menunos. She’s putting her singing career away for awhile.”
“She always wanted to be an actress and wanted to be famous. Scheana is trying really hard to focus on her career and the show especially because they started filming what went down with her and Mike,” an insider explained.
Mike has yet to appear on Vanderpump Rules season 5, and it’s shocking to hear he’s allowing their split to be filmed; I’m thinking Bravo threw big bucks their way. Scheana continues to allege that Mike relapsed and was using drugs again, be he and his family remain firm that he is clean, sober, and moving on with his life.
I’m not too sure I see Scheana as a host, but I will agree that she’s not done in the spotlight. While I think Vanderpump Rules needs a younger cast, I wouldn’t be opposed to some sort of VPR spin-off. With Lisa’s support who knows what’s to come for Scheana; I’m thinking she’ll have a new man in no time at all!
