According to Kyle Richards Season 7 tagline, she knows how to “spot a fake,” and during a recent interview with PEOPLE, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was put to the test as she dished on her tagline and the two newest Housewives.
“Well, you know, it’s kind of a funny story — a fan that I’ve actually never met came up with that tagline!” Kyle revealed. “She met a friend of mine in Oklahoma. So she came up with it, and I was like: ‘You know what? That’s perfect.’ I love it, and there are a lot of fakes in Beverly Hills, and I am really good at spotting them, so I went with it.”
As the new blood on RHOBH, Kyle says she grew particularly close with Dorit Kemsley, who she calls “very real.”
“She entertains me — she makes me laugh because things just fly out of her mouth,” said Kyle. “She’s kind of like, a really good audience because everything I say, she dies laughing. Once we got to know each other, we really had a lot of fun together.”
Adding, “I think there are times people are going to say: ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe she said that,’ but she’s not lying. She’s very honest, so I appreciate that in someone.”
However, Kyle doesn’t have the same warm and fuzzy feeling for newbie Eden Sassoon, who she refers to as an “interesting character.”
“I got the sense that she had seen the show because she sort of zoned in on me and my relationship with my sister Kim, and I was sort of like: ‘Oh my God, no. Give me a minute. Let me get to know you. But she’s a good person. All in all, our entire cast are smart women, and they’re good people. They sometimes say things they shouldn’t and make kind of bad choices — and I’m one of them! I’m not saying I’m excluded from that,” Kyle explained.
For now, in Kyle’s opinion, the jury is still out on whether Eden is real or fake telling PEOPLE, “Time will tell. I think it’s real.”
