One of the most shocking parts of the RHOA trailer was the supposed bomb threat that happened in Phaedra’s office with a disgruntled client.
In a new clip, Phaedra clears up what happened in the alleged bomb threat that got everyone talking. Phaedra states:
“I wasn’t even in town. I got a phone call and my employees were saying, ‘Someone tried to deliver a bomb to your office.’ ”
“I’m freaked out,” she explained, telling herself to “just get the kids and go.” Referring to sons Ayden, 6, and Dylan, 3.
News traveled fast as Kandi quickly spread the news saying: “This dude came to Phaedra’s office with a grenade and said he was going to blow the f—ing building up. A real grenade. Said he was going to blow himself up and everybody in there.”
Phaedra states that wasn’t correct and quickly cleared up the terrifying rumors:
“It was one of my clients that had come to my office to deliver some CDs. He had CDs and FedEx package and some lyrics. He didn’t have a bomb.”
Mama Joyce quickly gave her two cents and wasn’t seeing eye to eye with Phaedra: “What he said from what they had written down is he was tired of being messed around. He was looking for you and he was going to blow you the f— up. He said he was tired of being messed around and he was looking for Phaedra and he was going to blow her the f— up. That’s what’s on my cell phone. He said he had a bomb and was looking for Phaedra and was going to blow her the f— up.”
Phaedra stated that was a lie and stuck to her story stating: “He’s not upset with me. Homeland Security said that was false. He said he never made a threat against me at all.”
Suspect Terrence Cook was arrested by Atlanta police last summer, after entering an office building while looking for Parks. He allegedly claimed to have had a bomb and “was tired of being treated wrongly.”
The suspect was eventually charged with making terrorist-like threats and creating a false public alarm; however no bomb was ever found.
