Ashlee Holmes is best known on the Real Housewives of New Jersey for being immature, bratty, and selfish yet now her step-father Chris Laurita claims that she has grown up and is more mature since becoming a mother.
In an interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Chris says,“I cannot believe how much she has matured and what a great mother she is. After some of our challenges and struggles with her through the years — and a lot of people have seen that on TV — it kind of catapulted her into being an adult and a very responsible one, at that. She’s very, very, very attentive with her son. The fact that they’re living with us now, I get to see it and watch what she does and how she does it. She’s really been amazing, and I’m very happy to see that.”
While Chris may be privy to the different and more mature side of Ashlee, RHONJ fans aren’t seeing it. All fans continue to see is the same bratty teenager from seasons one thru three, who gets involved in her mother’s drama and trash talks her co-stars on social media.
A prime example of Ashlee’s meddling and immature behavior was when she posted a photo comparing Teresa Giudice’s looks to an ape while comparing Melissa Gorga’s looks to LaToya Jackson. Really mature if you ask me!
Jacqueline just patted Ashlee on the head and said ‘good little soldier’ instead of telling her to mind her own business. At the season 7 reunion, Jac defended Ashlee’s actions saying, “My daughter is an amazing, beautiful mother. It’s her sense of humor. [I thought it was funny], I’m not going to lie.”
I don’t see Ashlee as mature at all. I will give her props and say that she seems like a good mom. I’m sure she’s doing a great job as a mom and is enjoying her new role in life. I just find it hilarious that Ashlee and Chris seem to be doing all of Jacqueline’s dirty work. First off why is Chris all the sudden doing all these interviews, it’s very odd? Should Jac be doing these? And again why is Jac having Ashlee call out and make fun of her co-stars instead of doing it herself. It’s very shady if you ask me.
