Kandi Burruss Tucker isn’t afraid to speak her mind, and her years of success in the public eye are partially due to self control; she typically keeps it classy. Her mother on the other hand, hits below the belt and says whatever she is thinking in a hurtful way.
The Kandi Koated Night’s crew, or more specifically Don Juan thinks that he is Kandi’s muscle. He always shades her RHOA co-stars, and does whatever he can for some camera time; just the sound of his voice makes me cringe.
On this week’s RHOA Kandi, her Krew, and her family all sounded off on Phaedra’s role in Apollo’s criminal activities; yet Phaedra laughed this off and made it clear that she doesn’t care what they say.
In this week’s Bravo Blog, Kandi defended the smack talking and said, “I was thinking, “Oh God!” Any time my family or team says anything about Phaedra, all of Phaedra’s fans get mad at me as if I told them to say it. My family, friends, and team all speak their mind. They don’t hold back.”

We’ve seen Kandi rise to success in several business ventures, and we’ve also seen her fail. Regardless of how you feel about Kandi, you can’t knock her hustle; girl knows how to work hard. She dished on the restaurant she is opening with Todd and stated the obvious; this hasn’t been a smooth or easy process.
“Everything!!! I’ve learned a lot during this process. First of all, you have to stay on top of your contractors. If they move slowly and hold up your project, they are stopping your money. When you pay them, you have to make sure they are paying their sub-contractors. If they don’t, it comes back on you and you end up paying for the same thing twice. Our contractor wrote someone a bad check and now people are saying we didn’t pay someone! I was pissed about that,” Kandi explained.

She further warned her fans to, “Make sure you find out the rules for liquor licenses and other stipulations for your location.” Adding, “Our property is in a historic zone, so there are other rules for parking spaces per square foot of the restaurant. We didn’t realize if we expanded the restaurant that we would have to acquire offsite parking. The city will not sign off on your C.O. until you have this done. This was a problem for us… Things are finally coming together, but it’s taken a long time to get to this point.” I have a feeling with the show’s exposure alone this restaurant will be a success. When I finally make it to ATL I will definitely want to eat there!

Kandi, Kenya, and Cynthia seem to be allies this season, but Kandi and Sheree go way back. Instead of choosing a side in the battle of the homes, Kandi complimented both of her co-stars on their new living spaces!
“I’m not surprised, but I don’t agree with it. I feel like they both have beautiful homes. So what that it’s taken them a long time to get it done? As single women building million dollar homes in a great location they should be commended for having a great investment,” Kandi wrapped.

I’ve always felt indifferent about Kandi; she never really did enough for me to be excited, but I am always happy to hear when she does well. Finally I pinpointed what bothers me about her; the people she surrounds herself with.
I think Mama Joyce owes Phaedra an apology; those accusations could really hurt her sons. As for Don Juan, he should be banned from Bravo forever!

Thoughts on Kandi’s blog? What do you think of her family/crew? Would you eat at her restaurant? Is Mama Joyce too much? Are you sick of Don Juan?
