Phaedra Parks is unlike anyone else; she’s a Southern Belle with a dirty sense of humor, habit of throwing shade, and an ex-husband in prison!
This week’s RHOA picked up at Kenya’s house-warming party, where she asked Phaedra’s plus-one Porsha Williams to leave. While we all expected a war of words, and maybe even a scuffle; the ladies handled things in a calm way. Phaedra left with Porsha and of course made a few jokes on her way out.
When later asked about the early-exit she told Bravo that she wasn’t shocked Kenya kicked them out! “Everybody knows that it wouldn’t be a proper Kenya party if someone wasn’t thrown out. So I was not moved one way or the other. I am just amazed she didn’t have her ‘security’ do it,” Phaedra joked!
I, (like many others) was completely horrified by Kandi’s family scenes; her mom is getting shadier with age! Mama Joyce threw some nasty, reputation-ruining accusations about Phaedra into the world, and things look even worse after Todd Tucker implied the same!
Phaedra addressed these rumors that she was involved in any of Apollo’s criminal activities, and once again this Southern Belle took the high road! “I am never surprised when attention seeking people say and do things to get attention, because it’s what they do and it is expected,” Phaedra explained. Adding, “It is unfortunate that she is still searching for significance this late in her life, rather than focusing on the afterlife. Bless her heart.”
Things have changed on RHOA and now that Apollo is away, the Phaedra/Kenya drama is old news; especially since alliances have changed and some of the women’s true colors have been exposed. It was a shock to see Phaedra and Kenya having lunch together, and Phaedra wrapped by revealed she is hopeful that these two co-stars have genuinely started over, but it’s still too soon to tell how their relationship will evolve! “I hope so, but only time will tell,” Phaedra dished.
I am totally Team Phaedra, Mama Joyce and Kandi’s team were cringe-worthy to watch; they made their family look trashy and tacky. Did Phaedra have her suspicions; maybe by the end she realized things were not right. But do I think she was directly involved or turning a blind eye for a long time, absolutely not!
