For over 10 years now we’ve watch Briana Culberson struggle with her health, and despite how fans have felt about Vicki over the years; everyone always liked and respected her daughter. Fans have empathized with her health struggles, and appreciated the fact that she didn’t always agree with her mom, and wasn’t afraid to speak her mind about it!

Things got VERY scary and VERY real for Briana on this season of RHOC; she was rushed to the hospital and even underwent a surgery right after filming wrapped. We recently told you that Briana announced she finally had a diagnosis of Lupus; the cruel mystery that I also deal with on a daily basis.

On Monday night’s RHOC reunion part 2 Briana talked about her diagnosis further, and as a fellow Lupie and fan of the show; I like and respect Briana even more now than I did before. Unlike Ashlee Holmes and Brielle Biermann she works her butt off, even with a chronic disease, in which the majority of sufferers can’t even work!

It’s better. I had a major surgery on my neck a couple months ago to remove more tumors and they figured out that I have lupus,” Briana said to Andy, when asked about her health. Adding, “They said that I still can possibly be very early lymphoma that’s not detectable. So I have to be diligent but for now it’s just lupus.

As a nurse, Briana especially knows that the initial diagnosis is just the beginning, and unfortunately for her it probably won’t stay that way for long; which s why she said, “for now it’s just lupus.

I’m so happy that Briana is back home near her mom; it’s amazing how sickness makes you yearn for your parents, no matter how old you are. Briana talked about her relationship with her mother, and assured us that they are in a MUCH better place than they were at last year’s reunion. “It’s good; it feels really good to be home,” Briana revealed. Further explaining that the pair are, “very good, back to normal, now that she’s no longer with her ex. [Brooks is] gone, so we good.

We only got a glimpse of Vicki’s current beau Steve Lodge on season 11, as they were a very new couple during filming, but Briana assured the doubters that this guy is legit; no Brooks the crook the time! “He’s amazing,” she told Andy and her mom’s co-stars. Also gushing that she “couldn’t be happier” for her mom!

Briana also addressed the haters who slam her for Vicki’s involvement in purchasing Briana’s house. Luckily she’s secure enough to pay them no mind, and Briana’s longtime friend (her mom’s frenemie) Tamra totally backed up Briana on everything she said on the couch.

People like to try and make me feel bad about it. I work my ass off. I worked 14 hours and here I am. My husband’s a marine; he’s been deployed six times,” she shared. Wrapping with, “We work really hard and I hate that people try to diminish my success because my mom helped me out.

While Vicki nor Briana are ready to talk right now, they have been gracious and responsive in the well wishes sent from the AATRH team; keep fighting Briana, we are always supporting you!

Thoughts on Briana’s lupus diagnosis? Are you surprised? Is it best for her to move home? Are you shocked she likes Steve? Were you happy to see Tamra back her up? Would you like to see more of Briana on RHOC?
