It’s hard to believe that the holidays are already upon us, but they are; and unfortunately for The Giudice Family, they will be celebrating without Joe this year. Being the supermom that she is, Teresa already has her plans in place, and wants to keep things as happy and normal as possible for her four young daughters!
Recently Teresa revealed their Christmas plans to E! News, and one thing is for sure; she is so grateful to have Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana in her life, and they are her first priority! “I’m not hosting Christmas Eve this year,” Teresa disclosed. Adding, “I’m going to my brother’s again, because it’s just us. Being home is just kind of going to be sad, so I didn’t want to be home.”
Teresa also spilled that she and the girls will spend Christmas Day with Joe’s family, the way they do every year. “It’s nice to spend the holidays with family, because we don’t get to see them that much. The girls like to be with their family. They have a lot of cousins. Joe’s sister has four girls; Joe’s brother has three girls. So, there’s a lot of girls—plus my four girls. There’s all girls in Joe’s family. Then on my side, there’s [Melissa Gorga]’s three kids, and then my four,” Teresa explained.
On whether Teresa will send Joe a hot Christmas day meal; she’s not sure, but she is reflecting on her experience to make that decision. “I didn’t even care about the food. There’s plenty of time to eat when you come home,” Teresa admitted. (Side Note: I had no idea you could send holiday meals to prison; did you?)
Teresa credits the girls for helping her keep it together while Joe’s away, and confessed she doesn’t have time to sit and dwell; she is in full-on mommy mode! “I’m so busy—thank God—just running around working and [raising] the kids. They have all their activities,” she wrapped!
I’m so glad that Teresa is keeping things as normal as possible for the girls and is keeping with their Giudice family Christmas Day tradition! I’m sure Christmas morning will be difficult for all of them, how could it not be? I’ve crossed paths with some of Joe’s family for my other job, and let me tell you they are great. I think they will all do their best to make the girls feel comfortable, and attempt to distract them from the absence of their dad.
One thing is for sure; there won’t be a shortage of amazing Italian food at either of their celebrations!
