Hypocrite, party of one?
Ashlee Holmes likes to criticize Teresa Giudice for her financial and legal troubles, yet it seems Ashlee has some dirty laundry of her own.
The troubled reality star seems to have gotten herself into quite a financial bind while living in Los Angeles several years ago. Court documents show that Ashlee was evicted from her apartment after failing to pay her rent in October of 2011.
Ashlee owed $1654.96 is back rent for the month of October and was served with past due notices and eventually eviction papers. And of course, Ashlee being the spoiled brat she is, she refused to pay the owed rent and was fined for each day she stayed in the apartment past October 31, 2011.
Back in 2011, Ashlee detailed her move to Los Angeles on her Buzznet blog and even showed off her new living space while failing to mention that she couldn’t afford to pay for it.
“Anyway, looking back on life and this past season and seeing my attitude, I’m not at all proud of how I acted,” Ashlee wrote. “I hate how I’ve come across on television so far. I am ashamed of myself.”
“Where am I now?” Ashlee continued. “Well, tomorrow I move to LA. I will be staying with a friend, and then I will be moving into my own apartment on September 3rd. Before you say ANYTHING- NO, MY PARENTS AREN’T PAYING FOR ANY OF THIS. This move is funded by me 100%. I am very proud of myself for finally following through with something that I want to do. I love the apartment that I bought. It may only be 425 square feet, but it’s MY 425 square feet. Haha! It’s small, but just enough for me. I am very excited and equally terrified about this move.”
Five years later, Ashlee is engaged, has a baby, is living back with her parents in New Jersey and STILL hasn’t paid off her debts according to a court clerk.
Ugh not surprised by this at all. I never believed Ashlee was funding her LA move or lifestyle. It sounds like the bank of mommy and daddy ran dry, and Ashlee couldn’t fend for herself. Personally, Ashlee was smart to move back home and hopefully save money. I just don’t like when Ashlee calls out Teresa or anyone else for their financial or legal issues when she and her parents have skeletons of their own.
