Joe stood strong, but showed his vulnerable side during a very tough, unconventional filming situation! In the end, he and Teresa decided to share his final days with RHONJ fans, but according to our RHONJ insider, this was a last minute decision; one that they didn’t decide on easily!
Our source continued, “Teresa and Joe allowed 3 producers that they trusted and have known for years to come to Joe’s party, and inside their house on his final morning. The producers used cell phones, and brought small microphones so they were able to capture the sound as well.”
Clarifying, “footage from Joe’s final morning that viewers saw was from Bravo cameras rolling outside. Production ultimately decided not to use the footage they shot from inside the Giudice’s house that emotional morning,” the insider wrapped!
Sunday night’s RHONJ was the most emotional in 7 seasons, and I can totally understand why Teresa and Joe were so hesitant about showing these personal moments. That being said, watching the Giudice family during these transitional, emotional times is why most viewers have been tuning in! I think that in the end it was the right decision for Teresa and Joe to make, and production handled this episode in a perfect, tasteful way.
Thoughts on Teresa and Joe deciding to film his final days? Did producers handle it tastefully? Was it the right decision? Did you get emotional during Sunday night’s episode?
