Ramona Singer is known for being over the top, outspoken, and of course high maintenance, but all RHONY fans know her behavior only gets worse when she’s on vacation; she even goes so far as to ask the bell boy to unpack her suitcase!
Below Deck star Kate Chastain is one of the best in the business, and recently she told The Daily Dish that she once had Ramona Singer aboard one of her charters. It’s not what you’d think however; Ramona just took a drunk stroll onto Kate’s yacht, she wasn’t taking an expensive, fancy vacation like we’d assume!
“I was on a yacht docked in Sag Harbor for about four months, and the Housewives were filming on a boat down the dock. After they were done filming, Ramona was drinking Pinot Grigio, walked down the dock, invited herself on, was in the main salon talking to the owner of the boat, and she is just like she is on TV. She had just gotten her short haircut, so she was feeling very sassy,” Kate explained.
Kate didn’t even have to unpack Ramona’s bag and she described her as sassy; can you imagine if she had been a charter guest?
Kate also revealed another interesting RHONY connection on that same boat. “Actually, the guy who owned the yacht I was on in Sag Harbor used to date Bethenny. So there’s some stories there,” she dished; without supplying any further details. This leads me to believe those are NOT stories Bethenny wants public; Bravo to Kate for following the very strict RHONY girl code!
