Amber and her husband Jim may have been controversial on RHONJ; however I think we’re all in agreement that everyone was rooting for her in her battle against breast cancer.
After battling breast cancer for the second time around, Amber is happy to reveal that her doctor is very optimistic and confident. Per Amber: “My oncologist is like, ‘Amber, you know what. We treated you aggressively again, I think you’re good to go.'”
Amber further revealed to OMJ.com that she is done with chemo treatment but is still awaiting results to ensure she is 100% cancer free.
Amber has had a rough year, as in addition to battling breast cancer she also was diagnosed with Lyme disease (the same disease that Yolanda Foster has been fighting); however is happy to report that she is over that as well. Lyme disease turned up in a monthly blood test for cancer screening, to which she responded by undergoing antibiotics to wipe it out.
As we all know, Amber and Jim are definitely done with RHONJ for good and are now focusing on Marriage Boot Camp, a reality show focusing on addressing issues in a marriage and getting to the root cause.
If you follow Amber on Instagram you see that she follows a very clean lifestyle which is no doubt a result of her cancer and Lyme scare. I’m glad to hear that she has overcome both and hopefully can now move on from that chapter of her life.
