Caroline Manzo may no longer be part of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, but that doesn’t mean she still doesn’t keep up with her former co-stars.
Recently Caroline revealed that she actually still occasionally watches RHONJ to support her sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita, who returned to the show for it’s seventh season.
Although it may be tough for some to understand Jacqueline’s On-again, off-again love-hate friendship with Teresa Giudice, Caroline gets where Jacqueline is coming from.
“Jacqueline’s not crazy; Jacqueline tells it like it is, you know what I mean? And the problem with Jacqueline is when you’re her friend and you turn on her, she’s gonna be very hurt, and she’s gonna try every which way to make it right. And if you don’t want to make it right, then run. Run as far as you can, because you know why? Then she’s hurt,” Caroline told The Daily Dish.
“So I get where she’s coming from 1,000 percent. And she’s got a lot of bottled up emotions as well. And I think this is the season where Jacqueline finally speaks her truth. And sometimes, the truth is not popular. So I don’t blame her. I don’t blame her. I get it.”
While Caroline hasn’t watched the episode featuring Jacqueline and Teresa’s latest blowout where Jacqueline called Teresa out for “filing a fraudulent bankruptcy” she’s not surprised their truce didn’t last.
“A million percent expected. So if I could have written it beforehand, I probably would’ve because I know the personalities. And some things are just not gonna work, and this is one of those things that’s just not gonna work because people are who they are, and that’s the end of the story,” Caroline explained.
But when asked if she ever thought Jacqueline and Teresa could truly be friends again, Caroline said “Never say never. Jacqueline really, truly loved Teresa. She did. And she feels betrayed, and she feels hurt and all those things. Sometimes, Jacqueline’s delivery is wrong — we’ve said that a million times — but she’s got a very, very good heart. And when she feels betrayed and hurt and used, she’s gonna come after you. And I think that’s what she did. You want somebody on your side to fight with you? You want Jacqueline. But then you don’t want her as your enemy.”
I’m SHOCKED that Caroline admitted that Jacqueline would go after people when she feels hurt and used! It is so true! I don’t think Teresa and Jacqueline’s friendship is anywhere near over; these two will keep coming back to each other. Personally, I like Tre and Jac better as friends than enemies.
