Recently we told you that Kroy Biermann was traded to the Buffalo Bills, and his wife Kim Zolciak Biermann was excited about the news! Kim claimed to love Buffalo, and revealed that her parents are actually from that area.
In a new interview with BuffaloBills.com Kim elaborated on her ties to upstate New York and revealed, “Buffalo is like everywhere in my life, My parents grew up in Western New York. My dad (Joe) is from Buffalo and my mom (Karen) is from Springville. Then my aunts live in Rochester. My chiropractor, my chef, they’re all from Western New York. My chef went to St. John Fisher College.” Adding, “I just haven’t been back in a really long time.”
Kim has been estranged from her parents for years, but maybe Kroy’s new spot on the Buffalo Bills will bring them together! “My dad was born in Buffalo. My dad is Buffalo Bills obsessed to a whole other level. But I guess there are a lot of people who are like that with the Bills because I’m seeing it everywhere on social media right now since Kroy signed. If the Bills lost my dad was in a horrible mood and we were not to talk to him. That was my entire life. He still wears the zebra pants that the people wore like 20 years ago. They’re so horribly worn out. He wears the old sweatshirts. He’s a whole other level,” Kim explained.
Kim was a staple at the Atlanta Falcons games since marrying Kroy in 2011, and given her own busy schedule, this couldn’t have been easy! “I even worked out my ‘Dancing with the Stars’ schedule,” Zolciak-Biermann said. “I would go to a home game and hop on a flight and fly all the way to California. I always kind of worked around his home game schedule. I love to be in front row and I love to have Kroy see us there. I think it’s important for him to know that I’m right there for whatever reason,” Kim dished.
Now that the games are not in her home state of Georgia Kim will have an even more difficult time being there to cheer on her man, but she wants fans to know she will still be there watching Kroy no matter how far away Buffalo is from Atlanta! “I will be at every Buffalo home game for sure. That’s a definite,” Kim declared. Continuing, “I will make a couple of road games too like at Miami because that’s close. I’ll actually be in California when they have a game out there. I think it’s the L.A. Rams game. I’m out in L.A. quite a bit so I’ll probably be at that game as well. It’s just a matter of trucking the whole family. I have to figure it all out.”
The Biermann’s aren’t sure what their next move is, literally!
Kim clarified that the family isn’t sure if they will be purchasing a home in upstate New York or not, but I’m sure they will be at least renting something for the season; how else would Kroy feel at ease and focused during the season? “It happened so quickly so I’m still kind of processing that he’s up there and I’m here because that’s very new obviously. And I’m wondering what it’s going to be like to have a season in another state. It’s all new territory. I am excited for the snow because my kids have seen snow maybe once or twice in their life max. Then the Bills have a game on Christmas Eve so I’m thinking, do I do Christmas up there? I have a lot to figure out.”
Kim wrapped by reiterating that she and Kroy are thrilled about what’s to come this season in Buffalo, and I’m so happy to see how supportive she is being about Kroy’s new career move! “I am just getting such good vibes about Buffalo. Everyone has been so welcoming. I’m really excited about things for Kroy. So we’re looking forward to it all.”
I can see the Christmas special now, “The Biermann’s Take Buffalo!” Last season of Don’t Be Tardy things got stale, and while season 5 premieres in just a few weeks, this new adventure in their lives would make for great TV, I just hope Bravo thinks the same!
