Melissa Gorga joined RHONJ in season 3 amidst a family feud with the star of the show, her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice. A royal rumble went down at her son Joey’s christening and then for years their family drama played out before our very eyes!
Here we are in season 7 and Melissa and Teresa are finally on the same team; it’s better this way! At some point in time both ladies were BFF with Jacqueline Laurita, and for the first time she is placing the blame on one of her co-stars for the epic christening chaos!
Jacqueline recently appeared on SiriusXM’s Wake Up With Taylor and revealed that she advised Teresa to reach out to Melissa before they filmed together because they were already fighting; we already know Teresa didn’t take her advice! “When [Melissa] was coming on the show, I said, ‘You should call and make it good before she gets on the show so you guys aren’t fighting before [filming starts],‘” Jacqueline announced. Adding, “She refused to call ahead of time.”
Jacqueline continued that “the last straw” for Joe Gorga was when Teresa went on camera and pretended they were one big happy family. “So she went on-camera at the Christening trying to act like everything was great. ‘How ya doing?’ And that’s why her brother snapped, because he’s like, ‘Really? You’ve been treating us like crap, and now you want to come on and pretend like it’s all good,‘” Jacqueline dished.
Jacqueline further explained that even if Teresa didn’t want to, she “should have made nice” with Melissa and Joe. “I told her, ‘Call [Joe]. Call him beforehand.’ She did not take my advice, ‘I’m like, ‘Fake it ’til you make it.’ If you don’t want the headache of her fighting during filming, then do that,” Jacqueline reiterated.
The Teresa-bashing ended and Jacqueline turned her attention to her other RHONJ frenemy, Melissa Gorga. “She wants to rewrite history. She was just very disappointing to me,” Jac wrapped.
Okay, it’s a bit pathetic that Jacqueline’s interview focused on something that happened between her co-stars 5 years ago; weird. Jacqueline needs to be positively selling herself, and her fame-seeking daughter before they are Bravo has-beens; they haven’t been gaining any fans this season. I think the Teresa-obsession is beyond annoying and her interviews are barely worth listening to anymore, NEXT!
