Sunday night Melissa Gorga appeared on WWHL with Andy Cohen and my personal favorite Michael Rapaport! She looked amazing and handled herself like a pro through some tough questions; she even dished on why she and Teresa didn’t include Kathy Wakile (and family) in their holiday plans.
The caller shaded Teresa and wanted to know why the cousins were not being included in the family Christmas and New Years Eve celebrations, because “it is unclear” why Teresa has a problem with them.
“For Christmas Eve, it was just that we wanted it to be intimate just with her parents. I mean, it was her first day back,” Melissa defended. Adding, “For New Year’s Eve, I’m not sure. It was her invite.”
Andy pressed Melissa further on Teresa, Kathy, and Rosie’s issues, but she made it clear that wasn’t her question to answer! “You know, I don’t know. I think it’s something that you have to ask her. I know it runs through the veins of the family, and things that were said bother her.”
Okay, why would Kathy and Rosie be there on Christmas Eve, I personally think that would have been very inappropriate. Teresa is on bad terms with them right now, and it was finally a chance to start over with Melissa. After almost a year in prison of course Teresa wanted an intimate night, they all did; for Kathy to even be bothered by that would be appalling, let’s hope she wasn’t!
As for New Years Eve, I’m not sure why everyone thinks Teresa was going to be close with them all of the sudden. Richie, Kathy, & Co. (minus Rosie) were very disrespectful about the Giudice’s legal situation, and now they want to make it better when the cameras are there? NYE is a holiday spent celebrating with those you love; not trying to make amends with your estranged cousin over deep rooted issues. It was best they went to the Laurita’s, although they are probably jealous they missed out on the fun party!
Kathy’s time on RHONJ is done, we all know it and I can’t imagine that she actually has any “fans” at this point; did she ever? Best of luck to her in the future, but there’s no way she can feel like she belongs on RHONJ anymore; it’s pathetic to see her keep trying to hold on, and she’s taking the spot of fresh new blood who could make RHONJ better. Let’s hope producers hear us for next season, because anymore Wakile’s could hurt our favorite franchise!
