I think it’s safe to say that Tamra Judge is the fittest grandma on the block! The OC housewife, who is married to a younger man and is a mother of four, recently decided to get into the best shape of her life. So where does she find the motivation to maintain that shape?
Speaking to E! News Tamra admits that she struggles like everyone saying:
“What helps is if you set a goal. Even if it’s like, ‘I’m going to do a photo shoot in six weeks, and I have to get to this in so many weeks.’ Goal. Set a goal for yourself. Do a race, do a competition. Do something like that because you know you have to be your best and it keeps you in check.”
Tamra also admits that the body you see this season on RHOC is not going to be the body you’ll see in the future saying:
“It’s not possible to stay in that competition body forever. It’s just not sustainable. You’re really cutting out all of your carbs, and you need carbs.”
On what she missed the most when training for her competition?
“Pizza. Anything with bread. I could just eat dough all day long.”
“I thought I’d want wine. You know what, being away from it for so long and then just having a drink, it’s not what I thought it was.”
Tamra looks great; however I’m not a fan on the super muscular female physique (to each their own!) Seeing her order dinner with Shannon was painful so I’m glad to hear this diet is just temporary and not a lifestyle. I do think her advice is setting a goal is helpful as you have something to look forward to which will keep you in check; however overall no one can sustain the lifestyle/diet she is maintaining this season.
