For better or worse were part of the vows Teresa and Joe Giudice made when they got married and despite all the drama in their lives, they have remained united. While many wonder if Joe and Teresa will make it for the long haul, Jacqueline Laurita is speaking out about why she believes Teresa will NEVER divorce her now-incarcerated hubby.
“Knowing Teresa with everything that they’ve been through already, I think that she has a thick skin, and I think that they will stay together,” Jacqueline revealed to Us Weekly during the Real Housewives of New Jersey season 7 premiere party.
According to Jacqueline, she feels Teresa and Joe’s marriage is unbreakable and that Joe’s four-year prison stint shouldn’t affect the couple’s 17-year union.
Going on to say, “I think that if she can get through our fights and Joe calling her a C-word, I think that they’re going to make it work. I think she’ll take anything at this point!”
Teresa’s cousin Rosie Pierri, who also attended the RHONJ premiere party revealed why she thinks Joe and Teresa will remain married.
“[They will] absolutely [stay together]. Because I know them both, and they both love each other,” Pierri explained. “And we don’t believe in divorce. We’re Catholic Italians and we grow closer together as the years goes by,” Rosie stated.
Despite all the adversity the Giudice’s have faced, Rosie feels it’s only made them a more powerful team.
“Listen, every family has its ups and downs. I think that brings you closer when you go through something. You’re always a team. ‘For better or for worse’ — those words mean everything. That’s what our parents all taught us: to stay together through thick and thin. And that’s it. And I believe that Teresa and Joe’s marriage is strong and that they’re going to be fine.”
It is nice to hear Rosie be so open about her cousin. I think Rosie comes from a good place and actually cares for Joe and Teresa. Jacqueline, on the other hand, is so snarky with her digs. No marriage is perfect, and you know what they say about people in glass houses.
