Let’s face it – most of us who were watching the RHONJ premiere with a group of people were trying to pretend like we weren’t crying when Teresa Giudice came home. Teresa is now speaking out on her past year and reflecting on the mistakes she made while admitting that no one has a perfect life, no matter what it may seem.

Speaking out with CNN, Teresa describes what it was like to finally be reunited with her family after being away for a year:

“It felt like ‘what is going on?’ I’m hearing my lawyer on a walkie-talkie. I had the paparazzi driving up on the side. I felt like I was in a movie and here I am playing this person.”

Admitting that this last year was probably the biggest challenge of her life, Teresa stated that opening up to the public was an important part in her journey:

“The past season has been very dark. I wanted to share this with the world so everyone can see that we go through these hard times in life. We all have to. No one has a perfect life. There’s always a light at the end.”

Teresa also answered the question that was on everyone’s mind: Does she blame Joe for the hardships that came about this past year?

“Listen, I love my husband. Unless you walk this path, unless you know all the pieces to the puzzle, no one can judge. He’s an amazing man. He didn’t mean for any of this to happen.”

We LOVED the premier of RHONJ and stand by our statement that this will be the best season yet! We also think this will be a big year for Teresa as she will show viewers just how much she has grown.

What do you think of Teresa’s statements? Thoughts on her standing by Joe?
