They’re backkkk! The Real Housewives of Orange County kicked off their eleventh season tonight, but it looks as if the wounds from season ten still haven’t healed. While the Housewives may have changed, things in the OC remain the same. Vicki is still torn up over losing her former boyfriend, Brooks Ayers after he was caught lying about having cancer. Even worse Vicki is still on the outs with her friends and co-stars over her (possible) participation in Brooks’ lies.
Change is the name of the game for the OC Housewives; the episode kicks off with Tamra Judge working her booty off and revealing that she’s preparing for a fitness competition. Proving that you can look hot at any age! #GetItGirl
Despite being a grand-ma and being saved by Jesus, Tamra confesses that her sex life with her hubby Eddie is hotter than ever.
Meanwhile, Meghan King Edmonds is working on fixing up her house and reveals that she and Jim have started in-vitro fertilization in hopes of having a baby of their own. Jim, caution Meghan, “Don’t count your eggs before they hatch.”
Over at Chateau Dubrow, Heather Dubrow admits to her husband Terry that she’s not sure about inviting Vicki to her upcoming party; revealing that she was waiting for Vicki to apologize to her but is not reconsidering her stance. While Heather wants to invite Vicki, she’s not sure how to proceed especially considering the ladies aren’t exactly Team Vicki these days.
When we catch up with Vicki, she makes it clear that moving forward was no big deal, saying that she implemented significant life changes in life including a new hair and a kitchen renovation on top of Brooks moving out of her house.
While Vicki claims she wants her friends back in her life, she still doesn’t regret standing up for Brooks and says she would do it again. Vicki claims she hadn’t suspected Brooks was lying at all, making it seem as if she’s still buying his story. The wives, on the other hand, reveal in their confessionals, that they don’t believe Vicki at all saying she knew about Brooks’ lies all along.
Shannon wasn’t sharing Vicki’s feelings and was excited to share how much she and her husband David’s relationship has grown. Shannon revealed that her marriage has improved significantly, and that’s she’s over the affair.
On her journey to have a baby Megan starts some of her IVF procedures even though her hubby Jim is away at spring training. Thankfully Meghan has her mom to hold her hand during her hysteroscopy; revealing that needles are her biggest fear. Meghan pushed through the painful procedure after crying over the needles involved.
We also got introduced to the newest Housewife Kelly Dodd, who like Meghan also went through IVF to have her daughter. Kelly, who’s friends with Meghan, gives us a look into her life. The RHOC newbie is married to an older man, and the couple has one daughter, but their house is plenty busy as Kelly’s mother and brother both live with them. Don’t worry their house is HUGE so there’s plenty of room. Plus Kelly has a bar on all four floors of her house – I think she’ll fit in just fine with the RHOC ladies.
Heather finally calls Vicki about the party but when Tamra and Shannon find out Vicki is coming they express some concern over how things will go.
Since Vicki is single, she decides to bring Jeana Keough as her date, saying she knows Jeana will have her back.
At the party, Tamra and Kelly get along great after being introduced, but it seems like Shannon isn’t won over by Kelly’s jokes.
Vicki finally arrives at the party, and Kelly is the only one super excited to see her. It turns out the two share an esthetician. Meghan asks Kelly how she likes Vicki, and Meghan says she seems nice. Meghan warns Kelly to be careful around Vicki.
Heather opens up to the group about Terry’s health scare over the holidays which turned out to be a false positive. The couple realized who, and what is important, so they decided to throw a party for everyone they love.
Despite the close quarters, Shannon gave Vicki the cold shoulder all night causing Vicki to call Shannon’s behavior despicable.
Finally, Vicki pulled Heather aside revealing that she wanted forgiveness for what happened last year but still refused to admit she knew Brooks was faking his cancer.
