Not so fast, don’t write off Yolanda Hadid as a Real Housewife just yet.
Yolanda Hadid made a shocking, or maybe not so surprising, revelation on Wednesday when she announced she would be exiting the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and not returning for the shows seventh season.
Many assumed that Yolanda was fired or demoted from RHOBH and decided to leave on her own terms before Bravo could announce it.
It doesn’t look like that’s the case.
Following Yolanda’s announcement Bravo released a statement and welcomed Yolanda back to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills any time she wants.
“Yolanda was a great addition to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Along with our viewers, we have enjoyed and appreciated Yolanda sharing her life events, especially more recently as she struggled with Lyme Disease. We now respect her decision to focus on her health and family. We wish her a full recovery and hope to see her again sometime on the show,” the statement read.
Yolanda also confirmed that she has nothing but love for Bravo and that they didn’t abandon her.
“No abandoning here, I love my @Bravotv family, they have been very good to me and my family #FreedomOfChoice,” Yolanda tweeted.
All of this comes after rumors swirled that Yolanda was demoted to a friend of the Housewives for season seven and was told that she could not have her health issues be a part of her storyline.
Both Bravo and Yolanda received heavy criticism for her season six storyline which surrounded her battle with Lyme Disease.
It’s nice to hear that Yolanda still has a good relationship with Bravo and that the door for a possible return is open. I’d love to see Yolanda get healthy and then come back to the show. She adds something to the show that will be truly missed.
