Giddy up! It’s the Real Housewives of Dallas’ season one finale. After a season full of petty fighting and acting like jealous High School girls, the Real Housewives of Dallas cast has a come to Jesus moment and realize just how silly they are being.
The RHOD ladies trip to Brandi Redmond and Stephanie Hollman’s lake house in Austin ended with star LeeAnne Locken apologizing for her over the top explosion that led to her enrolling in anger management classes.
While the ladies may have seen the error of their ways, it is Housewives after all, and these women love to gossip and kick up the drama.
Let’s see how the ladies ended season one of RHOD.
LeeAnne decides she wants to start speaking professionally and hires a PR firm to represent her. Despite LeeAnne discovering her next big passion, she continued to argue with nemesis Cary Deuber. It seemed like things between Cary and LeeAnne were going to boil over especially when Cary called LeeAnne evil and full of shit, but things fizzled out.
Shockingly LeeAnne apologized to Brandi for all the drama in Austin and owned up to it all. LeeAnne seemed embarrassed by her behavior and knew she needed to work on herself.
Stephanie spent the finale throwing her annual Bryon Nelson party with 300-400 attendees. The party is lovingly referred to as a shit-show. The booze-filled party seemed to be a ton of fun. Stephanie also made sure to let you know how much dog poop she cleaned up for the party. These ladies love to talk about poop. SMH.
Besides her almost epic fight with LeeAnne Locken, Cary spent much of the finale pondering over the difficult decision of what kind of house she and her hubby wanted to buy in Switzerland. The couple also traveled to Italy at the end of the episode and decided that they want to purchase a house there as well. #RichPeopleProblems
Brandi and her husband seemed to be doing better at the finale. The struggling couple even renewed their wedding vows after filming ended. Not surprisingly Brandi also cleaned up a lot of bunny poop. So much poop so little time.
Tiffany’s husband decided he wanted to stay in Dallas, and the couple went house hunting for a modern space. They found the perfect home with the perfect price but were outbid, which we learned at the end of the episode.
Um, thank you, baby Jesus this show is OVER! These women are all lovely and probably super nice, but they are NOT reality TV material. I just never connected to these Housewives at all. I think Bravo fell flat with these Housewives and this franchise. RHOD could have been an epic franchise, with all the money, glamour and Texas-sized drama in Dallas but they completely missed the mark. I don’t know about you, but I was bored to tears every week and struggled to watch. I mean all the poop and charity talk completely turned me off. Bravo, a reboot of the franchise is needed if you want it to survive.
