Yolanda Hadid’s illness may be a huge part of her life, but it won’t be part of her season seven story line for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. While it’s still not clear if Yolanda will be returning to RHOBH. There are rumors circulating that if she does Bravo has put strict guidelines on her storyline and have banned her from discussing her Lyme Disease.
A source reveals,“Lyme disease is off the table for her storyline. The viewers are tired of hearing about it, and Yolanda was very unhappy about the turn of events. Yolanda said she wanted to raise awareness about Lyme disease and producers understand her position.”
So what will Yolanda’s storyline be then? It looks like Yolanda’s storyline will be her focusing on finding love again.
“Instead, Bravo gave Yolanda an ultimatum — her storyline this season will be looking for love since she is now single. Yolanda didn’t want to expose that part of her life to the public, but in the end, [she] caved into Bravo’s demands because she wanted to be a part of the show,” a source explained.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is set to begin filming later this month. As of now the season seven full-time cast includes Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erika Girardi, and (possibly)Yolanda Foster. Eileen Davidson is rumored to have been demoted to a friend of the Housewives. Kim Richards will also continue to make appearances on the show. And as AATRH previously reported Kathryn Edwards was fired from the show and will not return for season seven.
There is still an open slot in the RHOBH cast, and rumor has it Sydney Holland is the frontrunner to join the cast.
As always Bravo hasn’t confirmed or denied any casting rumors, but there always seems to be some truth to these rumors.
I adore Yolanda but her storyline for season six was too much. It took over the show, and I didn’t like it. I don’t think Bravo will want to lose her as a Housewife at all, so I’m glad they have put an end to using her health as a storyline.
