Shannon and David Beador have endured quite a tough year and despite keeping their marriage together, it seems the reality TV couple is getting rid of their Orange County mansion in hopes of riding their lives of any bad memories.
David infamously cheated on Shannon and the couple spent all of season ten of the Real Housewives of Orange County working on mending their fractured marriage. Despite successfully working through their marital issues sources claim Shannon, “really just wanted to get rid of the house after David’s cheating scandal because it carried a lot of bad memories.”
During season nine of RHOC, before any public knowledge of David’s infidelity, the couple listed their OC mansion on the market for a whopping $16 million, yet they only recently sold their house for $9,050,000 which $7 million under their original asking price.
It’s also reported that David and Shannon were desperate to sell their home due to their Homeowners Association attempting to prevent Bravo from filming the couple inside their prestigious neighborhood.
“Shannon knew that if she didn’t sell the house than she might not be asked to return next season,” a source revealed.
But according to insiders, the couple also have another reason for wanting to sell. “Shannon and David are strapped for cash right now, which is why they took such a huge cut on the house.”
The sale of Shannon’s home is sure to a storyline for season eleven of RHOC. I’m curious to see where Shannon and David move. Hopefully, the couple is still doing well.
Are you surprised Shannon and David sold their OC mansion? Do you believe Shannon and David are having money troubles?
