Did someone put a ring on it (again??) After Bethenny Frankel was spotted on her Instagram page sporting what looked like a diamond ring on a very important finger, fans called her out, asking if she was engaged again. In true Bethenny fashion, she shot back clearing up the rumors and stating that just because she wears a diamond – doesn’t necessarily mean it came from a man!
In the post, Bethenny showed off a cute outfit with the caption “I don’t like it. I love it.”; however the caption (or the outfit) weren’t exactly what fans noticed. Fans automatically were drawn to what looked like an engagement ring on her left hand!

After fans questioned and called her out – Bethenny spoke out stating that she is a true independent woman and not to judge by a ring she wears on that certain finger. Bethenny states: “Whatever it is, I bought it myself. Women don’t NEED a man. We can choose one.”

Bethenny recently landed herself in some hot water after some accused her of giving sexist advice by stating that it may help an African American woman’s business if she hired a white man to represent it. Bethenny’s tweet about women buying themselves a ring no doubt proves she is all for the empowerment of women; however it still came across all wrong at her event.
Personally I like Bethenny’s thought of buying yourself jewelry instead of waiting for a man to do it – it’s very Samantha from Sex & the City!
