Perhaps it’s just the reality curse! Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Marisa Zanuck has filed for divorce from Dean Zanuck ending their 13 years of marriage. Marisa joined RHOBH as a ‘Friend of the Housewives’ in season three as she was friends with Kyle Richards and worked with Mauricio Umansky. Marisa wasn’t asked to return back but she once said that the show was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that she was grateful for.
The divorce doesn’t come much of a surprise to many as she did say in season three that her husband wasn’t her type which many found odd. She later tried justifying her statement by saying Dean loved her loose lips. She even apologized for the comments saying, “My husband Dean and I have grown closer as we discussed the things I’ve said on the show. I regret many things that I have said without thinking, but my husband and I are deeply in love and after 16 years we know how we truly feel about each other.”
According to TMZ, Marisa wants to have joint legal and physical custody of their two boys, ages 11 and 13.
