The Real Housewives of Potomac fans can breathe easy; the newest on air Bravo franchise is “most likely” getting a second season according to The Washington Post. This Maryland suburb that sits right outside of Washington, D.C. is said to give a different vibe than The Real Housewives of D.C., which it is often compared to, and only made it through one season on Bravo. This news may be a surprise to some, given the lack of drama on the show, but it did premiere with 2.54 million viewers; the highest EVER of the housewives franchise.
There is more good news for fans, but potential bad for the RHOP stars. Bravo is looking to add 2 new women to the show, and possible wives have already been contacted. It’s not clear if Bravo is looking to get rid of any of the current wives, or if they will just be having 7 women in the mix for season 2. While 7 cast members is a lot, it’s been done several times before, so the women may be in the clear.
It’s blatant that out of The Real Housewives of Potomac at least one of the women should not worry. Gizelle Bryant seems to be the stand-out of this season, and should be a guarantee if RHOP definitely gets renewed.
As for Katie Rost and Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, they probably should be worried, as fans are often bored with their story lines. Fans have mixed reviews of Karen Huger, although she is often perceived as entertaining by media critics. Robyn Dixon doesn’t have an over-the-top story line, but fans respond very well to her, and she would most likely be back next season. As for Ashley Darby and her much older, controversial husband, that is up for debate. She is the opposite of Karen; critics are not feeling her, but fan have been vocal that she is a breath of fresh air!
Are you hoping The Real Housewives of Potomac gets a 2nd season? Are you happy to hear they are adding new wives? Do you hope they get rid of any of the wives; if so, who? Who is your favorite RHOP?
