The death of Big Ang will forever change the cast of Mob Wives. Big Ang was the light and laughter of Mob Wives with her sassy comebacks and signature voice and laugh. As her co-stars mourn the loss of their beloved friend, they also celebrate her life and the extraordinary woman that she was.
The Mob Wives cast took to social media to share their love and fondness for Big Ang.
In a statement to Us Weekly, Mob Wives newbie Brittany Fogarty opened up about how heartbroken she is over Big Ang’s death.
“I am truly heartbroken over the loss of Angela. She was a beautiful woman with an, even more, beautiful soul. She had a personality that was larger than life. Ang welcomed me with open arms from the moment I met her and for that I will be forever grateful. She was always there for me when I needed someone to talk to and to support me. She was a true warrior and carried herself with dignity and courage. Even through the hardest battle of her life, she stayed strong and remained positive. She is an inspiration to us all, and there is a lot to be learned from the woman she was. Someone who always saw the bright side of things and could light up a room simply by being herself. She was one of the funniest and most loving people I have ever met, and I am blessed to have called her my friend.Angela’s family was always her No. 1 priority; she would brag about her children and grandchildren wherever she went, showing everyone pictures of them. I am praying for her family during this time. She touched the lives of so many people; she will never be forgotten, and she will always be missed. I love you, Angela.”
Carla Facciolo shared several pictures of Ang on Instagram saying, “So many memories. I know I’m not the only one that is heartbroken over this. I wanna thank everyone for reaching out to us & sending their condolences. Let’s keep Angela’s family in our prayers .”
The other Mob Wives newbie Marissa Jade Fiore, shared a happier time from season six captioning the photo “Looking back at those moments. Rip Angela ?? Cherish your life and your loved ones. To happier times.”
Co-star Karen Graven took a different approach to her memorial to Big Ang telling cancer f$#k off and reminiscing about how Ang laughed until the very end.
Karen wrote, “Completely heartbroken. This has been an emotional roller coaster for you, your family and the people that love you but throughout it all you never let this fucking disease take your spirit …you woke up every day and fought with amazing courage & dignity and looked beautiful doing it… nobody knows the true definition of being tough until they watch someone fight the battle you just did ?I admire your strength and courage!!!! Right up until the very end you laughed joked and made sure everyone around you was OK…You have a heart of gold my friend The amount of people that came together to support you speaks volumes of how much you are truly loved and respected…. You are an amazing soul, and I am blessed to have had you in my life…rest in paradise Angel you will forever be loved & missed #fuckcancer.”
Drita D’Avanzo shared a sweet sentiment letting Ang know they will see each other again. “I will see you again one day my friend…I will miss every minute of u until then. I love you,” Drita wrote.
Finally, Renee Graziano kept it short and sweet saying, “RIP Angela…Forever in my heart,” while encouraging fans to live by Big Ang’s moto “Not here for a long time, just a good time.”
It’s truly heartbreaking to hear the Mob Wives cast react to Big Ang’s passing. Most of these ladies have known each other for years if not decades so this loss must be incredible for them. Mob Wives will not be the same without Big Ang!
Thoughts on the Mob Wives cast’s tributes to Big Ang? If Mob Wives happens to come back for another season, can it survive without Big Ang?
