Karen Huger Extends Support to Charrisse Jackson-Jordan Amid Marriage Crisis & Hopes Her RHOP Co-Stars Give Ashley Darby A Chance!

The Real Housewives of Potomac’s etiquette expert Karen Huger showed us her adventurous side this week when she admitted becoming a pilot is at the top of her bucket list once she becomes an empty-nester. Karen seems like a “girly-girl” so this dream was much unexpected.

Sunday’s episode showed a lot of friendship in Potomac, and we got to see Karen be supportive in more ways than one; when Charrisse opened up about her marital crisis, and when she showed up at newbie Ashley Darby’s 27th birthday party. Recently, Karen opened up to Bravo and ultimately agreed with Robyn in her drama with Ashley, although she made sure NOT to bash Ashley in the meantime. So far Karen has taken Ashley under her wing which no one saw coming, and it will be interesting to see how long that lasts! What was it like as Charrisse Jackson Jordan opened up about her marriage to you all?

Karen Huger: I was honored that Charrisse felt she could confide in us about her marriage. Marriage can be challenging. I felt her pain. I wanted her to know she’s not alone and she could count on me to be there for her without judgment. Tell us about learning to fly!

KH: I have many ambitious titillating To-Do items on my list for the next chapter of my life. Piloting this plane was #1 and sharing this moment with Rayvin made it all the more special. Flying this plane was a feeling of unbridled freedom and empowerment. Honey, I can do all things and you only live once. This girl is living her life to the FULLEST! Tell us about Ashley Darby’s party – What do you think you see in Ashley that the other Housewives don’t?  What do you think about Robyn Dixon’s confrontation with Ashley and Katie Rost’s PDA?

KH: I thought Ashley’s kitty cat themed party was very creative. Ashley spared no expense when it came to creating a vision of her very own animal kingdom down to the “Tony The Tiger” painted man walking around. I enjoyed it.

I believe Ashley is a fun loving free spirited good person. In life you don’t know what you don’t know. Only experience gives you that knowledge. I just hope the other girls have a little patience give her a chance.

The conversation that Robyn had with Ashley needed to be had. Robyn handled situation with class and deliberate decapitation. Apologies made apologies accepted. Next!

Katie, Katie, Katie Katie! I’m all for free love. It was a little too much PDA for me. However, to each his own.

With Karen, I get the feeling she thinks more than she lets on (same with Kim Fields). Karen has a hard exterior and early on she gave the vibe of “the one not to mess with” in the group. Katie’s PDA was way less lady like than Gizelle taking her seat at a party, and I wonder if Katie will also be receiving an etiquette book? As time goes on Karen seems more reasonable, but she’s still very hard to read. Luckily, there’s way more to come for Karen Huger on The Real Housewives of Potomac, as the season is just getting started.

Were you surprised to see Karen so supportive this week? Did you suspect Charrise’s marriage troubles? Do you think Karen hides some of her actual feeling for fear of being rude? Did you think Katie and Andrew’s PDA was too much? What did you think of this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac?
