It’s been over four years since Sheree Whitfield broke ground on the infamous “Chateau Sheree,” and there has been more drama surrounding her home than we can even keep track of! Her RHOA co-stars have mocked her over how long it’s taken to build this home, and Sheree really needs to deliver with a beautiful mansion once construction is done! Sheree is back on The Real Housewives of Atlanta this season, and she’s filled us in that construction is almost finished. Sheree blamed the delay on her contractors, and revealed there were many issues while trying to finish her home!
In 2013 Sheree appeared on Iyanla Fix My Life, a reality show on OWN. Life coach Iyanla and Sheree actually met on the grounds of “Chateau Sheree,” and Iyanla used this as a metaphor for Sheree’s life being stuck in one place! Sheree obviously learned a lot on this show because she’s gotten things together and is making moves!
Sheree returned to The Real Housewives of Atlanta looking, and acting like a new woman, I am so happy to have her back! Not only that, she is an executive producer on Selling In The ATL, a show on WE-TV about local real estate agents. Her life is no longer stuck, and either is the project on her mansion! Sheree has shared she is set to move in, in the next few months! If Sheree has that house done she is sure to get a peach next season; viewers and her co-stars alike can NOT wait to see this place!
Realitywives.net released a report this week that Sheree is being sued by her former contractor for unpaid bill of $15,450. Not only that, he asked for another $23,000 in late fees and “other charges.” Stoploss Specialists filed the lawsuit against Sheree on December 17, 2015 in Fulton County Superior Court. This was exactly 1 year to the day that Sheree signed a deal with Stoploss Specialists “to supply equipment, labor and/or materials for the improvement” of the property.
While Sheree has admitted to being in over her head, I do believe as a single woman taking on this project alone she was taken advantage of. This happens all of the time and I feel bad for Sheree. People were not taking her serious for years because of this house, but I think she’s redeeming herself by being back on the show (AS OF NOW). I’m VERY curious if this was one of the contractors who has caused such a delay in finishing the house, I’d bet it is!
Hopefully, Sheree releases a statement on this soon so we can find out what’s really going on!
What are your thoughts on Sheree being sued? Do you think it’s one of the contractors that caused the delay of “Chateau Sheree?” When do you think her home will be finished? Do you think that will get a peach in her hand for next season?
