Another one bites the dust. Just as season eight of the Real Housewives of New York begins filming star Kristen Taekman surprisingly announced her departure from the Bravo franchise on Monday.
In a statement to Us Weekly, Kristen says, “My experience during my time on RHONY was fantastic, and I made some great new friends. At this time in my life, I have decided to concentrate on my family and my new business ventures Pop Of Color nail polish and Last Night’s Look, my fashion blog. I will remain a Housewife and part of an amazing franchise forever, and that is what is important.”
Kristen, who joined the NY Housewife franchise during season six, spent the last few months dodging rumors she was getting canned from the show. It was only until her husband Josh’s recent Ashley Madison scandal that many believed Bravo would keep her on for season eight since Kristen would be bringing an interesting storyline to the table.
