Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador has been an open book when it comes of her marriage woes and the fight to save it after her husband David’s affair last year. In a recent interview with Andy Cohen, Shannon and David dropped a few bombshells about their marriage.
Shannon reveals that David left her for a few weeks and even gave back his wedding ring.“I don’t think that people understand the level of hurt. When David left me for those two weeks he would still come and pick the kids up from school. One day he handed Stella his wedding ring, and said, ‘Give this to your mother. I don’t want it anymore.’ That was a knife in my heart. I thought, ‘We’re never going to get back together.'”
David called his actions “horrific.”
While Shannon and David, have moved on Shannon detailed a phone call she received from David’s mistress.“In that conversation I wanted to say certain things, but I didn’t. I said, ‘I want my family back,'” Shannon recalled. “Her response was: ‘He’s obsessed with me, he’s like, he wants to marry me, and I don’t even know the guy.’ And it wasn’t kind. It wasn’t a kind conversation.”
The couple now claims that things are back on track with them, saying “We’re in such a happy place. That’s what it’s all about. It’s great today.”
