The Real Housewives of Atlanta - RHOA

Newbie Kim Fields Says She Brings Something Different To RHOA; Claims She’s Not About The Petty Drama

Season Eight of the Real Housewives of Atlanta is set to premiere in a little over a month, but fans shouldn’t expect the same old, same old. According to newbie Kim Fields, she’s bringing something different to the Atlanta franchise and isn’t about the petty drama.

In a new interview, the low-key, Housewife admits that she’s changing things up on RHOA.“Maybe I’m bringing something different to this party.I went into this with no real expectations or judgements. I promise you, every one of my reactions is real.”

Kim also revealed that she needed producers to let the real Kim shine on the show. “So far they have been great in letting me be me. Let’s see how editing plays out. I love that I get to be me and not play a character.”

While Kim may be all about being real, she does confess she has no room for the drama in her life. “I don’t have time to prepare for pettiness. I don’t have the brain space to worry about, or strategize what I’m going to say in an upcoming conversation.Still, I’m not perfect, and I can get aggravated. I’m not an emotional person, but there have been touch points during the taping that have caused me to be uncharacteristically emotional. When you bring me your toxins, a detoxing has to happen!”

Whomp, whomp. If Kim isn’t going to bring the drama what’s the point? Isn’t the Real Housewives all about drama and pettiness? I think Kim may be downplaying her ability to bring the drama…guess we will have to wait and see.

Are you excited to see Kim on RHOA? Do you think Kim will bring the drama?
