The fallout from rumors suggesting Brooks Ayers is faking his cancer continues to grow. In fact, many of Vicki Gunvalson’s friendships have been affected by these rumors. Just days before the RHOC reunion is set to film Heather Dubrow revealed to Us Weekly that since Brooks-gate things with her pal Vicki aren’t the same.
“I’ve always been a really big supporter, Terry and I both, big supporters of Vicki and Brooks. Always. What happened this season was, and you’ll see this and then hear about it at the reunion, [but Terry and I] both get brought into Brooks’ health issue.”
Heather admits that she didn’t want any part of the Brooks drama but somehow got dragged into it. “I didn’t want to be a part of it, true or not true, I wanted nothing to do with this. And we both got pulled in and so I felt like, [Brooks] pulled me in so now we’re going to talk about it.”
Yet it seems that Brooks and Vicki’s inconsistencies have left a bad taste in Heather’s mouth making her question her long-standing friendship with Vicki. “And, you know, I don’t know, I don’t know how to feel about Vicki right now. I’m so fond of her, but this isn’t a person I know, and all the rumors and all the inconsistencies and everything that’s going to come up at the reunion, I don’t know, I’m curious what she’s going to say.”
It seems that Heather is just as confused about Brooks’ cancer rumors as we are. Perhaps when the reunion starts to film today we all will get some clarification on what’s true and what’s lies.
Are you surprised Heather and Vicki are estranged? Do you think Vicki will reveal the truth about Brooks’ cancer at the reunion?
