On season seven of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Phaedra Parks struggled with whether or not to bring her two sons to visit their father Apollo Nida during his eight year sentence in prison. On the show’s most recent reunion, Phaedra revealed that she has not taken her children to visit their father in prison just yet. Fans have been wondering if Phaedra will ever take her sons to visit Apollo, and it seems that nothing has changed.
According to Radar Online, an insider revealed that neither Phaedra nor her children have visited Apollo in prison yet. “The one thing I will say is that every single decision I make is based on one thing: the well-being of my two boys,” Phaedra said about her decision. “It’s easy for people to ask why she did that or why she isn’t doing this, but the simple truth is unless you are in that situation yourself, you really can’t make that judgment.”
Despite what the public may say, Phaedra is firm in her decision to not take her children to visit their father in prison. “I do my best to make smart decisions after carefully considering all options and consulting with experts and others who advise me,” Phaedra explained. “I know in my heart that everything I do is based on what is best for my children.”
