It seems as though there have been more casting rumors for season seven of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” than any other season of Housewives. With Teresa Giudice set to complete her prison sentence in just a few months, season seven should begin filming in November. While it has been reported that Bravo was searching for several new women, it seems as though they will not need as many new cast members.
A source revealed some details about season seven’s cast to Real Mr. Housewife. The source said, “As of now, the plan is to bring the entire cast from last season back as they were including all of the new women. Of course, Dina Manzo is up in the air, as she may not want to return, but all of the women are going to be invited back.”
Dina has expressed that she is not too interested in returning for season seven, and it has been reported that she moved to Los Angeles.
Previous reports stated that the twins — Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano — would not be asked back to the show. Producers may need to keep them on the show due to not finding new women to cast. “Casting searched for a while for new people,” the source continued, “but as of now they have not found anyone they like that is willing to commit.”
Even if production decides to keep season six’s cast, they may still add one new woman. “While they still may add one new person if they find them,” the insider added, “as of now there will not be cast changes. Of course, this is always subject to change, but this is where things stand now.”
No word on whether or not last season’s friends of the housewives — Jacqueline Laurita and Kathy Wakile — would be returning.
Do you believe the entire cast will be brought back? Is there anyone from season six you would not like to see return?
