Previously we reported that RHONJ’s Joe Giudice had a run-in with the cops after getting into an argument with a neighbor over Joe’s excessive screaming towards his oldest daughter Gia. Now we are learning more details that shed new light on the latest drama in Joe’s life. It seems that the initial reports about the incident may have been exaggerated.
The Stafford Township Police confirm that they came out to the Giudice residence for “a keep [and] restore the peace call made over loud arguing.” The Police also confirmed a neighbor called in reporting a loud argument between two men. According to the Police everything was resolved quickly. “Once everyone was calmed down, we cleared … There was no cause for arrest.”
While witnesses initially told TMZ that the whole thing started after Gia Giudice was locked out of the house, a new source close to the Giudice family tells PEOPLE that is not the case.
Apparently, Gia wasn’t even home during the incident, she was at the beach with her friends. A Giudice source reveals, “Joe is upset that someone said the cops were called because he was supposedly yelling at Gia – when she wasn’t even there. She was never locked out of the house. The house was open.”
The sources goes on to confirm that the argument was a family issue involving Joe.“He was at his beach house at the Jersey Shore with Teresa’s parents, his other three daughters, his brother, his wife, three of their kids. His brother’s wife got upset that he and his brother went out on Joe’s boat and got back late. She got really mad at Joe and [brother] Pete. Joe told her to leave.”
Thoughts on the new developments? Are you happy to hear that Gia wasn’t involved? Do you think Joe’s temper got the best of him?
