As Teresa Giudice’s prison sentence is more than halfway over, we know that she has been keeping in touch with her brother Joe Gorga when Teresa is not spending her visits with her family. Andy Cohen is another person Teresa keeps in touch with, and he is opening up about their emails to each other.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Andy was asked if he keeps in touch with Teresa while she is in prison. He revealed that they do in fact keep in touch via email, and he spoke about how she is doing.
“She seems like she is okay,” Andy said. “She definitely has not lost her sense of humor which I really admire. She’s really funny in her emails.”
According to Andy, being able to email with Teresa was a lengthy process at first.
“There’s a special prison [email] system. She has to request you,” Andy explained. “You get a request saying, ‘There is a prisoner requesting that you join up to this system.’ Then you have to fill out all this stuff, your social security, all this information. Then you get approved by the system and then once you’re approved, you have to log on and then you can email this person.”
Even though the two have only kept in touch over email, Andy said he “would be happy to go see her” if she would like him to visit.
One thing the two may be emailing about is season seven of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Despite a Bravo representative declining to comment to Entertainment Weekly on whether or not Teresa will return to the show once out of prison, it has been frequently reported that her return seems like a done deal.
